Prof. Dan Bizzotto received his PhD from the University of Guelph in 1996, and began his independent career at UBC in 1998. As part of the Advanced Materials and Process Engineering Laboratory, his team has been working on both electroanalytical chemistry and materials electrochemistry. In 2001, Dr. Bizzotto was awarded the Lash Miller Award of the Canadian Section of the Electrochemical Society, and recently the 2016 Prix Jacques Tacussel of the International Society of Electrochemistry (ISE). Until now, He has published more than sixty peer-reviewed papers, mostly in ACS Journal, including JACS, Anal. Chem., Chem. Commun..
